My early life

9 Horse carts like this were still used and my Mothere took me to see the horses at the dairy often	10 Family friends who sort of adopted me - I spent a lot of time playing at their flat	11 War Memorial Hospital Carshalton where I was born	12 War Memorial site re-developed
13 Our flat in Wynash Gardens was the ground floor in centre of picture	14 The rear back path of the flat and my bedroom window	15 Came across these on an estate agent site when 26 went up for sale - this was the lounge	16 The kitchen at 26 was tiny and in my young days there was a larder not a fridge
